A rotten place...
4th team.

He's a rough personality.

He tried to light people up too much with the Texans and Bucs. Came here, matured and became a good player by every metric. But his personality rubbed the Cardinals the wrong way and they let him walk. His replacements weren't better.

He was cut from the Skins because he is brash and says what he thinks. Hopefully he's learned his lesson.

I watched a lot of Swearinger at South Carolina. I think he's a pretty good player.
Not correct. He did not rub the team the wrong way.

Dj re-established his career here the first time and chose the money in leaving.

When the cards claimed him, he twitted that he was coming home to the only place where he felt that he belonged.

Evaluating players on the basis of "where they rank" in their position grouping doesn't always work very well because of the array of unique roles a player may be expected to fill. This is especially true at DB, where schemes vary literally on a play to play basis.

As someone previously pointed out - Swearinger is our "hammer" (& presumably our best hammer & therefore more valuable than you'd normally expect).

Isn't the playbook on a iPad tablet? Hope the cuts didn't copy the playbook off of the tablet.
I would imagine the team is prepared for these things. Every team uses digital playbooks.

Swearinger can play and is better than average and gives the Cardinals a physical identity they have been lacking since Adrian Wilson... pet peeves about this guy on a team with actual needs is ludicrous

He is the bad cop of the secondary. Wideouts coming across the middle beware.

I think he is kind of a relic in today's NFL.

With the new rules protecting players and teams being more pass heavy he can be somewhat of a liability especially in the passing game and when it comes to personal fouls.

Granted they are the Redskins, but he led their secondary in interceptions and pass breakups... a relic he's not :)

Just heard CB Tyler Sigler has been cut on Arizona Sports Radio (Burns & Gambo). No surprise.

Also OL Odihambo.

Curious find me another GM that picked a David Johnson Tyrann and John Brown.

And Mason Cole who almost won the starting C spot and Zach Allen who’s looked great so far in pre season.

No one bats .1000 and like usual you guys talk just to talk

Tyrann and John Brown are no longer on this roster and were flashes in the pan. 3rd round picks shouldn’t “almost” win the starting job in their second season, they should be starting. Zach Allen is starting by default, because we lost a major signing.

Why are we glossing over Chad and Brandon Williams?

We have two Keim draft picks on a second contract. Two. And Gunter wouldn’t be here if the Packers had offered him just about anything.

Again, not counting this year, but 19 picks since our playoff year, 3 maybe starters.

Williams was a 3rd round compensatory pick, #98, there were 11 of them in 2017. 2 starters- Jonnu Smith and James Connor and one solid backup in Rasoul Douglas. 2 others are free agents like Williams is now, Brendan Langley and Amara Darboh.
