Good.
Gotta be a catch since he lasted this long, but he is easily the best option out there.

We’re at a point where we can and probably should take a chance.

Some will say , here we go again, with ped and injury. But he would have to prove himself and make the team.

Were Liuget’s issues PED related or criminally related? We really need to avoid anymore D Wash / Nkemdiche / Philbon type guys with character / drug issues.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Cards add Luiget and Crabtree after Week 1, when veteran contracts are no longer guaranteed.

Hopefully the DL looks better tonight or we need to add to it before we go 0-1

Cards Underground made a good point that the first-team DL is made up of veterans who know what the score is. That's not the same now; that's a thin group that isn't very good. Oof.

That's what Urban and Odegard were implying.

One of the broadcasters mentioned a play where Suggs pulled up saying he probably wouldn't in preseason but really, the DL got gashed. Preseason or not, you have to show you can stop the run or I have concerns. Banking on "they will play harder later" is a huge gamble IMO. The suggs one I got but to be demolished by a running game with a backup RB and blame it on half assed veterans seems like a gamble

And you’re also rolling the dice that Luiget is even available at that point. He’s already visited at least 3 teams.

As bad as our run D looked last week you’ve got to pull the trigger imo. He’s the best available as of now. Remember last preseason game 1 against the Saints when we were gashed by the run? It turned out to be a foreshadowing of what took place throughout the season & then last week reared its ugly head again. Imo our talent upfront is a lot worse today than it was last season. Maybe some of it has to do with our new DC implementing his scheme, but the warning signs are blaring loud & clear.

Get er done! Today before he leaves
