I believe there are 20 roster spots that will be open in regards to what the final roster will be going into week 1.

The way I see it, if the Cardinals were willing to get rid of their Top 10, Quarterback from last year, then really no one is safe.

With a new coaching staff and new....well everything, I think the following are the only players that I can say with close to 100% certainty, will be on the roster come week 1. (barring injury)

1-K.Murray,QB
2-B.Hundley,QB

3-D.Johnson,RB
4-C.Edmunds,RB

5-L.Fitzgerald,WR
6-C.Kirk,WR
7-A.Isabella,WR
8-H.Butler,WR
9-K.Johnson,WR

10-C.Clay,TE

11-D.Humphries,LT
12-J.Pugh,LG
13-A.Shipley,C
14-J.Sweezey,RG
15-M.Gilbert,RT
16-M.Cole,C/G/T

17-R.Gunter,DT
18-C.Peters,DT
19-D.Philon,DT
20-Z.Allen,DT

21-C.Jones,OLB
22-T.Suggs,OLB
23-B.Reed,OLB

24-J.Hicks,ILB
25-H.Reddick,ILB

26-R.Alford,CB
27-B.Murphy,CB
28-T.Brock,CB

29-D.Swearinger,S
30-B.Baker,S

31-Z.Gonzalez,K
32-A.Lee,K
33-A.Brewer,LS

Suspended/PUP:
-M.Garcia,OG
-P.Peterson,CB

I think Keim will make the mistake of keeping too many offensive players this season. If this offense is going to play as fast as expected, we’re going to want to rotate defensive players. We might be thin at OLB.

I would think both Thompson’s are locks at safety... especially the one from the supplemental draft. The only other one Competition wise would be Rudy Ford and he’s never really shown much

Ford has been a good special teams player

Probably could have simply said "I think Keim will make a mistake".

JMO, but I'd add:
1. Gardeck, ILB
2. Max Williams, TE.
3. Cunningham, T
4. At least one of the Thompson twins, S
Like I said, JMO.

Krang, I'm basing my opinion that from all I've read, is that he's our best blocking TE. The other top three TE's are primarily receiving type TE's.

I would say these players are very likely to be on the roster, but the right cut from one team may produce a situation where a player on the waiver wire, or late free agent may be better than the listed players above.

Gardeck, and Cunningham are not players chosen by this coaching staff.

If I had to pick one player out of the list above it would be Jalen Thompson, but again, we will see.

Two guys who I think will make the initial Final 53 are Joshua Miles and Miles Brown. And then cut when we pick up guys from the WW.

With Robertson and Reed, I think the Cardinals are ok at OLB.

WR and OL are the hardest areas to figure out.

I think H.Butler will go on IR.

Crabtree is a lock.

DL is woeful at this point.

I think Chris Jones at CB is a lock and that is not a positive.

This is going to be a long year

Pharoh Cooper hasn't showed anything and should be cut. If McVay can't find a role for you, you can't play.

Edit - If McVay, KK, and Zac Taylor can't find a role for you...your done.

New England would be his last hope...BB probably make him a RB.

He’s was out best returner. The problem was he wasn’t good at anything else. I like the guy and was rooting for him. Hopefully he finds a good landing spot.
