Their vanilla offense is their base formations which they will run variations off of. If you aren't going to run your base offense then why even play pre-season games? The idea of pre-season games is to run your offense under live conditions. If Klingsbury isn't going to do that then how will they even have any idea of what will work and what won't No matter how much you run them in practice it's still not the same as doing it under live game conditions. What are they going to do, run a different offense in the pre-season games and then introduce the real one once regular games start?
I think preseason is for evaluating the players to make the roster.

How does this compare to previous years? Looks reasonably robust to me.

It's about an hour shorter per practice from what I am remembering and sort of dead center between Wilks and Arians.

I am thinking shorter practices fits the Kingsbury motif of shorter time frames for meetings and practices

I am guessing all the play practices will be in a different two hour window.

Be nice to see some nfl fundamentals wherever camp shall be - you know me - I don’t even think coach should attempt a forward pass till they get a bread and butter run play established effective and efficient - it is the engine of an nfl offense - it makes everything else go - even in the air red offense

Oh it toughens a defense also - might stop the run, block and tackle effectively and efficiently if coach actually uses the 4 preseason games to prepare a team to be at the top of their game opening weekend - I think perennial playoff teams are coached up fundementally to c9me put the gate ready - 1st game is as important as the last game to win a division
