Cron gets first MLB start.

Walker needed a day off

Let's keep the offense going - may need it today.

Good to see the rookie Cron with a clutch sac fly, after
the D-backs score the first run on an error by the Panda.

2-0 D-backs.

I like Locastro, he reminds me of a crash dummy, willing to do what it takes to get on base and make plays.

I like Locastro, too. Lots of energy. I like him more than Swihart.

Cron got his first hit (double) Two RBI's so far
Yup. 1-for-2 plus a sac fly and two RBI's so far in his first start.

It is sad that Christian Walker blew his opportunity. But he
just can't hit the high fastball.

It is going to be fun to see Cron develop. Especially with his
dad as our top Minor League manager and a brother having
played in the Major Leagues. That is a good pedigree.

-- Clarke giving up just one run in six innings so far.

-- Hopefully Duplantier will be given his chance as a
starter, too.

-- Cron's arrival, following Walker's disappointment.

-- The D-backs with 28 runs in their last 15 innings.

There is joy in Phoenix!

Chafin comes in to walk two in a row to force in a run.
He's shooting blanks.

Then he gives up a 2-run single. 10-4 now after 7.

Clarke charged with a 2nd & 3rd run but will, hopefully,
get a "W".

But then, Archie is throwing in the bullpen.
