Does this mean we focus on trading some assets now? I really don’t know what the plan could be. That 6th pick will not reap immediate returns.

What complete B.S. How does having one of the worst records justify the 6th pick. Total B.S.

At least the #1 pick didn't go to the Knicks or the Lakers. Only saving grace.

AD and Zion on the same team? They may be the only team who would trade the #1.

Or trade AD to the Celtics for Tatum Brown and #14. Danny is dying to do that trade.

Unfortunately, that fits the Suns history. Last year was an aberration. Historically, the Suns ALWAYS get hosed in draft lotteries/coin flips.

They aren’t trading anything unless Davis is stupid.

Zion to the Pelicans. Dear Lord that is not where they league wanted Zion to go. This is just B.S. The Suns should have gotten no worse than the 3rd pick.

I don't see why the lottery cannot be limited to the bottom three or four teams. There is still no overwhelming incentive to tank, but also no way some 40 win team that just missed the playoffs gets a top pick. Makes sense to me.

To be fair I have mentioned that it could be a blessing in disguise to end up with Garland instead of Morant. Elite ball handler and elite shooter and if he can stay healthy and be just a solid facilitator than I could see him ending up the better NBA player. Don't get me wrong if we had the #2 pick I would be all for Morant as I feel more confident that he pans out.
