1. Failure to work any deal with trading Rosen when they knew they were taking Murray. Reports are Keim just started making calls minutes before the Cardinals were on the clock. Come on man you had 4 months to have a deal in place.

2. Not having Murray SIGN ...not a verbal...but sign a non baseball clause before he was picked. Dumb
Keim only has a verbal at this point that Murray won’t run to baseball if the NFL is too much. Gonna draft another qb next year? Might have to after Rosen is gone and if Murray runs away....could have been done weeks ago...sign the clause or we don’t pick you.


3. Keim couldn’t even get a 32nd pick for Rosen....come on man. Now every team has ‘their’ qb. Cards are going to have a split locker room and anyone who’s followed football can tell you ‘when you have 2 QBs you have 0 qbs’ ...and you think Rosen will trust Keim or ever not want to punch him in the face....no way

Other teams knew it was Murray so getting a one for Rosen would have been very hard to do. If Keim openly shopped Rosen days before he might not have gotten a one even then because Murray was the only option and the Cards couldn’t risk trading down and still getting Murray. Either way a first rounder wasn’t gonna happen. All the QB needy teams knew this and Keim was hoping for one idiot to bite.

The Chargers, the Dolphins, possibly the Raiders, the Bengals, the Patriots, and maybe the Saints all have older quarterbacks or ones that haven't lit up the league, and may be in the market for a potential high quality better-than-developmental guy to take the reins soon.
