Starting with the bad home loss to Edmonton, this team has fallen off a cliff, playing really bad hockey. Sadly, the playoffs are looking less and less likely.

If we can get Step back, that would be a huge lift. We're struggling up the middle without him. He touches so many key parts of the game for us. But, yeah, we've used up all of our mulligans at this point. Now we're going to need help.
Getting Grabner + Dvorak was huge. Getting Stepan back would be huge in time for this last run.

Rick Tocchet said C Derek Stepan will be a game-time decision on Saturday against the New Jersey Devils. Tocchet is leaning toward playing him but wants to make sure he is physically ready for it tomorrow.
