A fine tribute to a Larry Legend. I am still a little bummed that you didn’t select my “Fire McCoy”suggestion earlier this season though

Cards fans,

Going with a tribute to Larry this last home game (and maybe his as well):

“THANK YOU,
LARRY LEGEND”

Thanks for all of your fine suggestions this past season, Cards fans!

MadJack.

I agree, although you'd hate to miss paying homage if he does retire.

Meh. I don't think he's going anywhere so it's a bit odd. It makes it sound like he is done, IMHO.

I'd go with "Larry Christmas" and hope we get the gift of a win on our final home game of the year.
I think Larry’s done things this season he’s never done on the field in his entire career, thus I think he rides off into the sunset in 2 more games.

He did say just last week when asked about it, he will know when it’s time to hang them up. His worst season, along with a horrific team appears its that time.

It shouldn’t be one that implies he is done geesh. Even something simple like we love Larry would be better at least it doesn’t make it sound like he is quitting...
Isn’t retiring quitting? Not in a bad way at all. He will be going out on his own terms & relatively healthy for a 15 year vet. All players at some point retire or quit for whatever reason

Come on guys, don’t over analyze the message, the sign is a huge thank you to the best Cardinal ever!

MadJack.

For a serious suggestion, I do not think there is a better one than what you have right there.

Here are a few of mine:

New Hope = No Hope

Thanks for the Ulcer

My Xmas bonus went to therapy

Did the season start yet ?

Do we have to play the game ?

They made the wrong decision.

Born to stand...out-side the stadium

Well said, Buckybird. All I'm saying here is 'Thank You' not 'goodbye.' Of course it implies that we may be thanking him for his career here - or for another record breaking season.

Regardless, I have it on good authority that he is retiring so to miss the opportunity to thank him would be a real bummer. We shall see....
