1/2 Steelers' WR Antonio Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus: "The tweet yesterday was not in reference to anything other than Antonio responding to a person he knows. It was not directed towards a trade, or wanting to be trading. Any idea he was asking for a trade is not accurate.”

2/3 Rosenhaus: “Antonio had a personal matter. I talked to the team about it. His issue was unrelated to the tweet or his relationship with the team. Third, AB has an incredible drive to win. He just wants to win. That's all that that is.”

we should call...offer them conditional first and third...

if its a top 10 pick in 2019 we keep it and they get our third this year while the first moves to 2020...
if its not top 10, they get the one in 2019 and the three moves to 2020

AB is pissy... maybe the prospect of playing with some younger guys has some appeal?? I dunno... but he would be a legit 1 and a legit deep threat

just saw on NFLN... the Pats have conducted 25 separate transactions on WR's...since July...TWENTY FIVE!!... thats a team trying to address a need.

meanwhile...we pull in a guy who has been out of the league for a couple years....

I'm not so sure going after AB is a good idea.

#1 he is 30 years old and uses a lot of cap space.

#2 His attitude is questionable - see above, if you think Pittsburgh is dysfunctional, how do you think he reacts to being in a historically bad offense with no qb getting him the ball and a team not winning.

I am getting a little tired of these fix the team quick schemes everybody seems to be proposing. This team is far too bad to be fixed by one or two players no matter how good they are, and mortgaging the future to be the fifth worst team instead of the worst is just stupid.

Oh i agree.... Tongue in cheek suggestion. Doesnt matter who we got if we only throw the ball three yards downfield.
Just frustrating to see us do nothing while the Pat's have made 25 wr transactions in the past 60 days trying to fix their issues

I don't get wanting AB. He was disgruntled catching passes from Ben on a team that has consistently made playoffs. Why would he be happy here? And if he's not happy, he will cause a lot of problems. This is the trade we make 2 years ago when we were competitive, not now.

Oh man...just stop guys...... If Ben can't feed him enough, what do you think his demeanor will be after a game or two with Bradford??

Like some prostitute is going to get away with telling Big Ben no... This sounds like B.S.

PittsburgH! With an H at the end, people! Sheesh :)

Yeah, even though players are saying all is hunkey dorey, it feels like a possible implosion here in the 'Burgh. Then again, they did have an 0-3 or 0-4 start one year, and did decently, so we'll see.

They're not trading him, NFL contract rules are weird, trading him would be roughly the same as cutting him, the dead money on their cap would be insane. Even if they utterly despised him, they'd be better off having him refuse to show up and suspending him rather than trade him away.

You'd have to blow their doors off (like, 2 or 3 firsts) to even get them to talk about a trade.

The Steelers are a dumpster fire, and I'm fine with it. Stars wanting to do everythig but play football. Keep that nonsense.
