That pass right there is the difference in Mayfield & Darnold. The turnovers.

Darnold has the size & skills, Baker has the will, confidence & arm. He’s magic

I disagree I don't think Darnold is more talented that Baker. Accuracy, pocket presence is all part of talent.

Darnold is big and strong but good lord he turns the ball over at a crazy rate. It's not he doesn't want it as bad as someone else of course he wants it he's just not as good

I meant the perception of one over the other by most.

Trust me I’ve watched Mayfield prove the doubters wrong for 3 straight years here in Texas. I wanted to sell the farm for him

Exactly why you keep drafting QB’s until you get it right. The Cardinals need to play Rosen NOW. If he’s not the guy, you draft another QB.
Depends on how long we’re talking here.

It’s not like the Browns drafted a QB every year.

It is just one game. Let's see if he can repeat things next week and beyond before we anoint the kid the next Favre
While I agree in principle, the kid completely changed the dynamic of the game when he came in. Taylor was throwing up pillows when he was in there then Mayfield comes in and throws a damned football. IMO had he been starting from the rip the Browns might very well be 3-0 or 2-1 at least.

Yeah, in the last 6 years they've only drafted 3 QBs in the first round, 1 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd.

No but often either drafting one or bringing someone in. Since their return they've drafted a QB in the first round 5 times including 2 with the first pick. And they've drafted a ton of QB's in the interim and all have failed. That's an impressive record.

It's one game. Just wait till the next team has tape on him. Could change how he plays. It was a fun game to watch though.

And the Legend of Money Mayfield is born... The bigger question is will the Legend of the Chosen Rosen be birthed anytime soon??

Mayfield looked a lot better than Darnold. Let's see what happens when there's tape on Mayfield.

I think Bowles get fired this year.

No, I wouldn’t want him as HC.

Was great to see.

My dad, older brother and nephews are Browns fans and I'm pumped for them

Hugh Jackson is still a garbage head coach, but Mayfield may have the personality to push beyond that

Love him in the post game as well - just handled himself perfectly
