I have never seen an ERA of INF until now.
They're done. Doesn't matter that Colorado lost, their bull pen has gone to crap and Torey's ever changing lineup tweaks won't help this offense. Love Torey but he has made several dumb decisions the last few weeks/month. He has to be on the hot seat now.
This is just awful. I'm sure there's a reason why I still pay attention, but I have no idea why. Maybe it's like watching a train wreck happen.... You just can't seem to not watch.

I know it is tough to watch them now but every teams blows games. You win some you should have lost and lose some you should have won. Every team has those 5 games.

My cousin called from St. Louis to complain about the Cardinals bullpen. My response: come out west--we have 3 of the worst bullpens in the NL. Is it time to post the Lee Elia tirade?

Did the trade for 3 middle relievers screw up the chemistry? I don't get it. Our pen was cruising all year, now no one can get an out in an important situation.
We've blown 7th or later leads in what... 7 of our last 9? If we win 4 of those 7 (which still adds up to lousy relieving) we've got a 1.5 game lead.
That said, we're averaging less than 3 runs per game in those 7 loses, so the offense probably shares the heavier blame.

Did Sunday’s demise start with putting Box in - or have I not yet awoken from a nightmare??
I know Boxberger is not the only problem, but he has been A problem with blowing these saves— why does Lovullo keep putting him in??
