Plot Summary: The film stars Ben Foster as a father who has lived blissfully off the grid in a nature reserve outside Portland with his 13-year-old daughter. When a chance encounter blows their cover, they’re put into the charge of social services. They then set off on a perilous journey back to the wilderness and are forced to confront their simultaneous desires for community and solitude.

Surprised no one has seen or commented on this one yet as it has done so well on Rotten Tomatoes (which several on here hold in high regard).

Saw it tonight and it was really well done. A moving film. Well worth seeing. Definitely going to go and pick up the book it is based on.

Ben Foster and filmed in Oregon. I'm looking forward to watching it.

McKenzie's simultaneous look of innocence and curiosity makes this well worth the time...imo.

Neat film. I like that it had very little dialogue. Loved the setting.
