That article doesn't exactly equate him to Manziel, but it's worth noting maturity was a question mark against Kizer coming out of the draft.

I remember people on this board after he threw a couple preseason TD's bemoaning us not taking him. Haven't seen them around lately. I never bought into Kizer, so far so bad for his NFL career.

I will say we as fans need to take a note from the playbook of Josh Freeman, Kaepernick, RGIII, and on the opposite end Jared Goff so far. A QB's first year or couple years doesn't necessarily define him.
