Free agent QB Rex Grossman has rejected an offer to sign with the Browns for Week 17.
Grossman is choosing instead to spend the holiday with his family. We can't blame him. The Browns have nothing to play for, and Grossman isn't in need of a one-week paycheck at the league minimum at the expense of missing Christmas. The Browns will turn to undrafted rookie Connor Shaw vs. Baltimore

What if he were to play in the playoffs? Or possibly the Super Bowl?

I'm enjoying this thread. Grossman has playoff/ Superbowl experience (enough said). This Cardinals team is good enough to win a Championship. Grossman should of been signed a few weeks ago over practice squad/ already cut once R. Lindley - who I think hasn't ever thrown a TD pass in NFL.

I'm no historian, but I seem to remember Grossman being historically bad for the R*dskins.

I would have rather signed Rex instead of Lindley

this
but the story about knowing the sistem make me sick,
its really matter to know the playbook perfectly if u are not able to throw a clean pass??
the only thing i blame arians is about his high ego

He was historically bad prior to the unveiling of Lindley, who smashed all his records of incompetence. I'd take sexy Rexy in a heartbeat over this. He'll throw picks but he'll get you in the endzone too.

He's a turnover machine but my dog is better than Lindley.

And it is still ridiculous! Just because Lindley once again was terrible, doesn't make the idea of bringing in Rex Goodman any more sound now, than it was then.

If we lose this week with Logan and Lindley so be it. It's just as good as losing with Goodman would be.

Stanton will be back for the first playoff game.

Rex Goodman would probably be an upgrade...whoever he is...

Rex Grossman is available and has playoff/Superbowl experience. He's light years better then anything currently standing upright on Cardinals roster. #NoBrainer

Agreed. What do we have to lose? Lindley has showed us he can't do it.
