I'm going to go ahead and say what everyone is fearing. Floyd is a mega-bust.

Yep... Floyd will be fine.

I don't care if he's fine or not. A solid prospect at OLB would have been a better selection. Wide Receivers are a dime a dozen. BTW is Schofield hurt?

Yes, knee issue.

We are weak at the OLB spots. Cannot disagree on that.

Lets not forget how unimpressive PP was last preseason. I'll give him the season to work his way in; which won't be easy with the QB situation.

Unimpressive? :nono:

INT for a TD on his first play from scrimmage and several good returns...

WRs USUALLY break out in their third season, not their rookie year.

Sincerely,

Every **** who has ever played fantasy football and looked at WR stats

I'm calling it now. Our 1st rd pick next year is going to be a bust! What were we thinking reaching for that player when there were clearly better players available?

Someone, please remember to bump this in a year or two so I can tell y'all so. :D
Hmmm

Bad things happen when they are on my fantasy team.

Nick Foles is out for the season.
benched Floyd he did well
McKelvin is out for the season
Shaughnessy was on my team dropped him when he went on IR
Pitta IR out for the season dropped him
Ellington limited.
PP not doing well.

When I drop them they do well.

Michael Floyd is a mega-bust. Either you have it, or you don't. He doesn't. 'We're bringing him along slowly' is code for 'We can't believe how badly we whiffed, but we can't let on...'

It's already indisputable that he is not what we hoped - an impact player who can step in immediately and take double-teams and pressure off of Fitz... to keep our star happy as his twenties wind down.

Now all that's in question is whether he'll ever be starting WR caliber.

I say no.

And now a bunch of you will jump in ranting about how it's too soon to tell, it's unfair to judge, etc. But you know what you're fearing. And I'm happy to revisit this thread a couple years from now and let the 'I told you so' chips fall where they may.

I was surprised to see this until I saw the date. Still don't get it. But to each his own.

I don't care who is playing wide receiver if Drew Stanton is playing like this your not gonna get results.

WR is a completely dependent position folks

I don't know when it's time to call a #1 draft pick a bust but there are many rookies playing better than him this year. And last year.

He's not a bust but he hasn't yet become a #1 WR either.

Stanton has been bad and we have no run game but it's pretty apparent with Larry out that everyone has to step up. John Brown as they pointed out is drawing defenders, he seems to get at least one PI a week(whether they call it is another issue). Floyd has his moments but he's not consistently open and Stanton isn't accurate enough to wing it into tight windows the way Palmer does.

Terrible fumble today. He has to know the DB's will be ball hawking. They all do it. That play just seem to let a lot of air out of the team when we really needed a lift.

You have to be able to count on your main guys to make those kind of catches and hang on to the ball.

Floyd isn't a first rounder... I said that the day we drafted him. Have never changed my mind since.
He can be an effective #2, at best...
