Cornerback Antrel Rolle has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Cardinals' 35-27 victory over the Bengals on Sunday.
Rolle intercepted three passes and returned two of them for touchdowns to tie an NFL record. He had a 55-yard return in the first quarter and a 54-yard return in the third quarter. A third return for a touchdown was waved off because of a penalty.
Rolle became the 24th player in NFL history and the fifth player in team history to return two interceptions for touchdowns.
This is the second consecutive week a Cardinals player has earned the defensive honor. Linebacker Karlos Dansby won it last week.
