    Ayton was the consensus safe pick. It’s hard to criticize the pick looking back, but it is absolutely disappointing. Doncic is without question the superior player now and going forward. For that matter, already better than Booker in all facets.

    Oubre will be inconsistent, but he’s a solid player and fits nicely for the long term. There’s no reason to trade any of the wings. Their development and versatility - all 4 - could be key to the teams improvement. They guard and play multiple positions.

    I’ve always liked Oubre. Another athletic wing in the era of positionless ball. He’s strong, plays decent d and hops. And he fits the timeline. Rivers is irrelevant.

    Yikes. I’m at the game and that looked heated between Kokoskov and Bridges. Kokoskov cut him off heading to the bench and wouldn’t let him pass. Bridges was very animated.

    Bridges gets in the middle of everything. Good and bad but always aggressive. Having watched every single one of his Nova games, I didn’t think he was strong or quick enough for the NBA yet. But his smarts overcome everything else. He’s nearly always in the right place to effect a play.
