    We’re talking floors and ceilings here. - Can the new guy dvelop into a QB equal or better than Kyler? - Sure thing or boom or bust? - System fit? If he cuts the mustard, draft. him and include. Kyler in a Kyler trade package. If not, roll the dice on Murray, and opt for a future HOF’er.

    Not having home crowd advantage doesn’t help. But overcoming this is just one more challenge the team will face “on the way back.” It’s like the team having to fight through a collective high ankle sprain. Gotta deal with it and overcome it to become good again.

    What makes Kafka so appealing is that he kept D Jones consistent. (seldom did Jones wander off the reservation). The way Jones performed early in the season was the same way he performed late in the season.

    I’ve wondered also how Monti’s “no room for ego” comment squares with Payton’s “larger than life” personality and coaching style. Perhaps Monti has more influence than we previously thought and our new HC will be more out of a NE/Belichick mold.
