    Hey Manu4five

26 minutes of garbage time? C'mon dude, you're embarassing yourself.

The Real X Factor: Steve Nash

He shot 40% from 3pt range during the regular season and 50% during the 1st round.

Another "Fire Sale" Pick Coming Back to Haunt Us?

Blair Line vs. Thunder last night: 17 pts, 10 reb, 3 steals, 1 block in 15 minutes.

Suns Looking To Add Waived Big Man?

Unfortunately that's not happening. When the Spurs traded for RJ they tried to send Bonner instead of Thomas, but the Bucks insisted on Thomas. If they waive him or buy him out it will cost more than if they did the same thing w/ Bonner so it looks like they have plans for him.

Another "Fire Sale" Pick Coming Back to Haunt Us?

The Spurs signed him to a 4 year deal at just under $1 million per year w/ the 4th year being a team option. That will be a great value I think.

    Bruce Bowen Retires

I wonder if you will say the same of Raja Bell when he retires?

    Bruce Bowen Retires

Bruce Bowen is one of the most charitable men in the NBA. He gives tons of time and money to numerous organizations that support underprivledged children. His own story of being raised by relatives and the hardships he overcame is inspiring. Your ignorance reveals your character.

David Stern whines and acts like a child

PLEASE...Colangelo plays his favorites just like Stern. The NBA has become a huge international draw. The number of fans that watch it worldwide has mushroomed under Stern. It has more viewers than the NFL by a wide margin. Stern isn't going anywhere in the near future.

    Bruce Bowen Retires

It's been so long since the Suns actually played defense that no one here can appreciate the premier defensive wing player of the last decade.

    Just looking to pile on...

:bang: Sorry about that. #3 was to have stable management. Have a plan for a team and work it over time. I think, for example, Kerr was correct in his desire to change the character of the team, but you can't do that with a team that was built for something else. You need to start...

    Just looking to pile on...

Successful smaller market franchises have to work within a model that regularly keeps them under the luxury tax. This requires 5 things: 1. 2 or 3 star level players signed to less than max contracts. If you are unfortunate enough to have a star player that equates respect w/ money this is...

    This is BS

You must have the long view to see the plan. Nash was signed to an overpriced contract so that next year when no free agents want to go play for the Knicks, Nash can be traded to the Knicks for some good young talent. Maybe, Lee plus some others. DA still has a man crush for him so he will...

Predictions: Western/Eastern Conference Standings for 09/10 season!!!

Although if you think about it the team saves money in the long run by being able to sign players to minimum contracts that can actually contribute to the team. The cost of the D-League team is also cheap. The whole roster costs less than a vet minimum contract (excluding assigned players)...

Predictions: Western/Eastern Conference Standings for 09/10 season!!!

In fact, there is a good possibility that there will be 3 players on the 15 man squad that are from the Toros system--Ian Mahimni, Marcus Williams, and Hairston. The Spurs hire the coach, Quin Snyder, and have him implement a watered down version of the Spurs offense and defense so that players...

    Position by position evaluation

So your overall grade is 6.1. That doesn't sound too promising in the West where it takes a 6 or 7 to play at the final table. So you are saying the Suns are a borderline playoff team. Probably right on the money. Where would you rank the coaching staff?
