I'm sure Pete has has a direct pipeline to the MLB league office and knows all the facts.
Because he certainly isn't the type to try to take advantage of this to spin it for his own benefit.

If his hip issues are gone he might be of some help. I don't think anybody thinks we're going to get the All-Star version, it would be a great find if we get somebody who can play 10-15 minutes a night, run the offense and provide some leadership.
I think it's more the Beal trade than the Durant trade. The Beal trade locked them in with two shooting guards. They probably wouldn't have been any better off keeping Chris Paul, but they should have figured out some way to get something resembling a rotation PG somewhere.
