1-9 in our last 10 this is bad as anything in the Sarver era.
We had stretches in the year after Hornacek was fired where we went 1-13 and 1-15 in the same season and had a 1-15 stretch the next season so no, it's not as bad as anything in the Sarver era. But it's bad, even if the embarrassment is softened by the absence of far too many players.

The Suns are frustrating to watch because at the moment they appear to be rudderless.

It feels like they are adrift in a leaky boat and no one is trying to fix it.

I don't sense any urgency from the Suns GM to right the ship.

Below is a link to a podcast interview with James Jones on Arizona Sports dated 1-4-2023.

2 weeks. Seems like most of our injuries are now projected for longer periods than I’m accustomed to. Makes me wonder if we are kinda soft tanking.

The thought has passed my mind as the Suns do not seem anxious to make changes to their roster.

This could be under instruction from either Robert Sarver or preserving major moves for the new ownership. Perhaps both.

It would only be fair for the suns to finally win a lottery or even jump to #2 in a year where injuries knocked them around. We’ve seen other teams gets those breaks. And it would fit what we need perfectly this year:

Dynamic PF (wembayama)
Pg (scoot)

My dream scenario would be to jump to the first spot, trade it to Orlando for their pick at 2 and their second first rounder from Chicago plus another future first. Draft Scoot at 2, use the Chicgo pick from Orlando to draft Brandon Miller. Use the other first plus one of our own to move back into the draft to select the best available big.

You are insane if you want to trade the number 1 pick. Wembenyama will be the greatest player of all time as long as he doesn’t get majorly hurt.

Yeah, it crossed my mind that my dream scenario might lead to us passing on two all time greats in a 5 year span. But considering his size and build, history isn't on Victor's side despite how special he appears to be.

Suns are going big tonight, at least for Phoenix.

If one wants to look at the Suns roster and the state of disrepair, the Suns are 6 down standard roster players.

They have an regular roster spot open.

Open thought to Suns management.

Couldn't they bring in another point guard on a 10-day contract?

Maybe they might get lucky like with Cam Payne.
