Suns @ Clippers Thursday game thread 12-15-2022

I thought Bridges looked good at shooting guard in that overtime game against the Pelicans.

With Chris Paul winding down, it might be worth a look.

I think Booker and Bridges can pair together at the guard spots for short stretches but not on a regular basis. Defenses would have a field day against us once they prepared for them. Neither one is a strong enough ballhandler. Devin is a very good ballhandler for a 2 but no more than barely adequate at the PG spot and Bridges would be little help when the pressure comes.

At this point there are not a lot of options. Hopefully Okogie, Lee and Shamet can help spread out the duties.

However, I'm not convinced Bridges can't play shooting guard. I'd need to see him play there more.

No reason whatsoever to want Bridges to be below average at the SG position. Hell, he's barely average at the SF position! So yeah, let's play him out of position and see how that works out...
