It's on to play the Trail Blazers in Portland on Saturday night at the Moda Center.

This will be the second of back-to-back games for the Suns.

The Suns beat the Lakers 115-105 on Friday.

The Trail Blazers lost in their home opener to the Kings 124-121.

Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

The game will be televised on Bally Sports Arizona and NBA TV.

Tony Snell is listed as OUT for Trail Blazers with a right foot sprain on NBA injury report.

Looks like Elfrid Payton has to step it up tonight!

I'm hoping we run some Shamet and Booker together. As little of Elfrid as possible.

His ability to put up 10 points 7 assists and 7 boards while having a plus minus of -23 in only 15 minutes is a thing of wonder.

I'm glad the Suns have him on the roster for just such an occasion. Last season the Suns would be looking at Moore and Galloway.

I'd have preferred Galloway.

But Payton has my full permission to start proving me wrong tonight.

To my knowledge Galloway is still available after getting waived by Warriors.

I won't be able to watch this one, at least not live. I will be checking the updates on my phone though.

These Blazers lost to the stinkin Kings in their opener, I really don't get what Portland is doing, they either needed to swing for the fences or blow it up, instead they're running the same team back out there despite the whispers of their star player being unhappy with how little progress they're making. They're the 2011 Phoenix Suns right now.

Keep em on the ropes boys! Go Suns!

Monty doesn't mind using all reserve lineup with some veterans intermingled.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Payton does. It's early in the season so it's the perfect time to throw him out there when the stakes are lowest.

I'm more interested in seeing Shamet and Booker play together though. That could be a potent duo.

I'm glad the Suns have some options at backup point guard (and shooting guard) which was a weakness last season. It got to where Moore and Galloway didn't play much.

Chris Paul gave his jersey after last night's game to Trevor Ariza's child per Chambers and Leander.

The Coyotes are rebuilding the right way from what I can tell. They should be good down the road.

Let's get the win tonight and come home for five games starting Wednesday versus the Kings.

If this, supposedly, incoming scandal had happened when we were going 19-63 and fighting with the city over the arena (basically where the Yotes are now)… I’d be petrified.
