The first inning took 40 minutes.

Rockies pitchers threw 44 pitches in the 1st inning.

I dozed off in my rocker-recliner and it's 6-4 D-backs. Hmmm!

Maybe it is Coors Field. :D

Hilliard is up for the Rockies with a runner on and two outs.

The entire D-backs infield is on the right side of 2nd base,
so he hits a grounder to the right side to leave him stranded.

It defies logic!

It's 2020 and the world is going crazy! Has someone sprayed
'stupid gas' in the air?

Josh VanMeter with a 3-run HR for the D-backs with one out in the 3rd. 9-4 D-backs.

News flash! The Valley of the Sun has been lifted to 5,280 feet and we're now a mile high city. :)

Oh, the roof is open.

D-backs increase the lead to 10-4 at the end of four, but leave runners stranded on 2nd & 3rd.

The box score shows 20 runners left on base in the first game. And 13 through four innings of this 2nd game.

I guess that's the total of the players rather than left-on-base as the half-inning ended.

That makes it 11-4 after 5.

Taylor Clarke, after a rocky (no pun intended) start
has retired 9 of his last 10.

On a light note, it reminds me of my favorite pun.

I sent a friend a list of my ten favorite puns to make
him laugh, but no pun intended.

No pun in ten did. :)

Travis Bergen in relief for the D-backs gives up a long HR.

Right after BB pointed out that our relievers have given
up no runs in their last eleven innings. 11-5.

It's fun watching D-backs games lately!

BTW, tomorrow's game starts at 5 PM.

And our final game on Sunday, with MadBum starting,
begins at noon.

Oh no, Silvino Bracho is off the DL and warming up in the bullpen.

His body language on the mound looks like a 4th grader.

He has failed every time he was given a chance.

Please send him somewhere before next season.

And this game is over. 11-5.

Why are you turning a positive into a negative generalization?

The D-backs started showing less "lift" and more scoring
following a players-only meeting. It was announced on TV!

And, as also quoted, Torey had told Steve and BB that he
was starting Lamb with an .050 batting average because
"he likes players who hit the ball into the air".

As Bill Murray said, "That's the fact, Jack!"

I enjoy the change. C'mon, AZCB, enjoy the positive.

The approach has changed recently and we're finally
winning some games. You can't argue with success.

You never answered the question. It had nothing to do with being positive or negative

I never answered it? You just quoted all six paragraphs of my answer above.

Then referred to only the first line .
