It's getting hard to watch Suns games.

Sinclair Broadcasting Group who owns Fox Sports AZ has already removed their channel from Sling and Dish. Now they are removing it from YouTube TV.

I'm sick of chasing them around. If I catch a Suns game the rest of the season it will be on the radio listening Al McCoy.

The day of reckoning for sports and their bloated TV deals is coming.

Will the removal affect the income of Sarver and his cronies?

If it does, that might be the only thing that would get their attention.

I bundle with Cox to keep getting Fox Sports AZ, to watch the D-backs
and the few Mercury games they televise, in addition to the Suns. I've
had them since they bought out Dimension Cable in Phoenix back in the
'80's and, for the most part, I don't regret it.

What's your monthly cable bill?

Nope. Sinclair pays for the broadcasting rights. How they distribute it is up to them and to my knowledge has no affect on the Sun's bottom line. But less eyes watching is not a good thing long term.

I was ready to change to YouTube television because they carried FSAZ or at least they did. My contract with DirecTV was set to go up in February. It didn't for some reason.

It's still just under a $100 a month so I kept it. Hopefully I do not get a March surprise.

What's your monthly cable bill?

ADVANCED TV PREFERRED...........$129.48
HIGH SPEED INTERNET PREMIERE......82.99
DIGITAL TELEPHONE PREMIER...........34.99
TAXES, FEES, SURCHARGES..............20.81
------------------------------------------------------
SUB-TOTAL...................................$268.27
MINUS BUNDLE DISCOUNT................70.00
------------------------------------------------------
2-YEAR PRICE LOCK TOTAL.........$198.27 per month

I keep my landline (in addition to my Smart Phone)
because if I drop the $34.99 charge, I'd lose the
Cox $70.00 bundle discount and would pay more.

And if I ever need Cox technical support (vs. my
computer tech support company), I know when
to request a Tier 2 tech or a Supervisor.

And to check with the Customer Retention dept.
periodically to see if I can get a less expensive
Price Lock deal.

And I do speed tests on my Internet regularly to
monitor my download, upload and ping speeds.

Thanks. That's pretty steep though. I can't justify spending that much on cable.

Maybe you have programming I don't have. I do not have any premium channels like HBO or Showtime.

I don't have premiums either. Only local, HD and dvr and not sure what package we have, but not the cheapest one. Seems like we've been getting a price hike every year lately.

I've been looking at ditching it for the last 3-4 years, but.... :(

I haven’t been able to get away from DirecTV as it’s been the only way to watch all Suns games on my big screen TV.

Yeah, this is incredibly annoying...the only reason I subscribe to a streaming service is for Suns/DBacks.

I work out of town and I have the NBA app. You can get league pass but you can get it for just one team. So mine is the suns of course and you have your choice of home or away broadcast

it’s 60 bucks a year

You've gotta be kidding me. That's the main reason I have youtubetv. Why are they pulling it? When does this go into effect?

The only blackouts I ever got was when they played in salt lake

Were you in the Salt Lake area when you experienced that blackout? Curious why that would be but I suppose that could cause it, or if you have your billing address set as one in Utah so it uses the rules for blackouts based on Utah being your "home" team.
