The kick is up....oh! It hits the upright...and then hits the cross bar!

Wait. That was the Bears playoff game last year.

Yeah Cody Parker however he was actually a pretty accurate kicker.

Yup very accurate. He hit the upright 4 times in the game vs Detroit. Don’t remember ever seeing a kicker do that.

So the real question is what does he have to do with his kicking style to correct such close misses into good FGs? It would seem that all it would take is an adjustment in his approach to move the ball slightly in direction.

Parkley out did himself in the playoffs. He hit the post and crossbar in the loss to the Eagles.

Might be the first time I’ve seen clutch and Neil Rackers in the same sentence.

Rackers had a big leg & loved to hit people, but you can count on 2 fingers how many "clutch" kicks he made in a fairly long NFL career. I'll never forget the 51-45 playoff win against the Packers, when Warner took us down the field late in regulation only to see Rackers duck hook a 35 yarder & miss the goal post by a good 20 yards left. That dude drove me absolutely nuts.
