Russell for 25-27 million or Brogdon for 21-23 million.

Brogdon.

If we can trade JJ then we can offer Brogdon 20. Who knows, Milwaukee might even be persuaded to take JJ and a highly protected first in a sign and trade for Brogdon. Saves them money, gives them a project with JJ for a year, and an asset.

I don't see anyway Brogdon signs for less than the full max, even then there is a good chance Bucks match.

Some information on Butler.

Shams Charania‏Verified account @ShamsCharania

Sources: Jimmy Butler plans to meet with the 76ers soon and has interest from other teams with maximum salary space, including the Lakers and Nets, and sign-and-trade possibilities elsewhere.

I wonder why the Suns are not associated with Tomas Satoransky.

He is better than some of the other candidates being mentioned such as Rozier and Joseph.

No way, he gets a max. offer sheet. He is a role player, an excellent one, but still a role player.
The Bucks will max him though. He is part of their remaining core.

Edit. Excuse me "match him"

If Klay Thompson is a 5 year max player then I would say Brogdon is close, they're remarkably similar.

Rozier would be an uninspiring signing, which is why I’m sure they’re going to do it.

The salary cap has been increased so the Suns have more money to spend if they desire.

Well yes - except for the Booker relationship with DLO which should not be minimized.

Because of that and the fact he should be easier to acquire - not restricted - DLO

Yes, all indications are James Jones is incompetent.

I think it is possible - there is far more cap room available than quality players.

Simple supply and demand is going to drive salaries higher than they should be.

So if Dlo has the Lakers and Nets as his two primary destinations, and supposedly going to talk to Minnesota where one of his buddies is at, why does he let his buddy Booker campain on Instagram for him? It seems like he is playing along with Booker. Is it just Phoenix has offered to talk like Minnesota did? Seems like a confusing story.

I'm hoping there is nothing to this.

Kings have interest in Dedmon.

Carmichael Dave‏Verified account @CarmichaelDave

Interest between the Sacramento Kings and free agent center Dewayne Dedmon is mutual, and strong. Nothing set yet, but there is confidence on both sides. Expect a resolution tomorrow.

I am expecting something out of the blue tomorrow--an option we had not really considered. So far, James Jones has been anything but predictable.

Everyone going to be waiting on Durant and Jimmy Butler.

Butler: Philly, Houston, Nets, Clippers, even Lakers
Durant: Nets, Knicks, Warriors (still a strong possibility), Lakers.
