We watched this on prime and me and my wife both liked it. The only complaint I had was it was a little to long.

I liked the way it was shot the style is really cool, the soundtrack was amazing.

The scene with the priest and miles I kept thinking damn Jeff bridges is good at what he does.

While we were watching this my wife told me it was a real place. Looking it up the Cal-Neva resort lodge has a more interesting story than the damn movie.

So Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sam Giancana(famous mob boss) owned it.

it really was under servalience by the FBI, they were trying to get Joe Kennedy and thought the money for the big expansion came from Jimmy Hoffa and the Italian Mafia

This was like John Kennedy’s personal playground he used it to bring all his mistress's.

It really did have tunells and hallways allowing members who didn’t want to be seen to not being seen.

Marilyn Monroe tried to kill her self in the hotel a week before she was successful.

This makes an already cool movie 10x cooler.

I think I was expecting too much as well, felt it didn't live up to the hype. It was OK, but nothing great. Jeff Bridges was fabulous of course.

For me, it wasn't great either but it was more than just OK.
