Devils won their first game last night. They have some talented new players. Dort looks like the real deal.

Lots of games against ranked opponents in the next couple of weeks. Should be good.

I went to that game. Fun atmosphere until Sloppy McSlop showed up and made both teams play like they were blindfolded. Shooting was horrible. Hope this is something Bobby Hurley can work on. It's no more "Guard U;" more of a slashing offense. That guy Dort was pretty impressive.

I'm really impressed that they held on instead of collapsing at the end when Miss St tied it with less than a minute left, especially that MSU was down big the whole game. Great finish!

This team is literally 180 degrees apart from the team last year... And I like it! [emoji106]

Compared to Sendek (when one sets aside Harden), I love Hurley's recruiting so far. Depending on which recruiting service one likes, Dort and Cherry were 4- or 5-star recruits. And Lawrence, Martin, Valtonen and Plavsic were quite highly rated. Agreed that ASU has a ways to go, and we need Hurley to stay a while, but we haven't seen this kind of quality depth for a long time.

Luguentz Dort has caught the eye of NBA scouts. He is presently considered a first round pick.

Dort is the player I expected Rawle Alkins to be at Arizona. Alkins had both injuries, selfish teammates, and he himself fell in love with the 3 ball and that all held him back. So far Dort seems to have a better all around game I think he's a better ball handler than Rawle was and he's also in a situation where he's got a green light from Hurley.

I loved Alkins thought he underachieved at UA, right now I like Dort even better.
