They need to resolve this issue for once and for all. I'd get more involved as a fan if I knew the Coyotes were staying.

Coyjokes ownership has sucked donkey oysters from Day 1 at AWA:

Gluckstern: fell in love with AWA, never bothered to do some basic trigonometry and discover how many seats would have obstructed views.

Burke: bought out *uckstern, owned the team in their worst years.

Ellman/Gretzky: I think we all know how this turned out ::barf::

Moyes: bankrupt

NHL: imagine having Garry Bettman run your business.

Leblanc: does anyone even remember this turd?

Barroway: current Chief Poltroon Officer.

It's no wonder I follow this team. What's not to love? :koolaid:

Ticket prices.

Oh, that was another ******* decision. Gluckstern went to Garry and basically said, Hey, we've got this really popular PCHL team called the Roadrunners. I bet a pro team would draw even more.

Wrong.

The Roadrunners drew well because (a) The Coliseum is in the middle of town, (b) tickets were $5 or $10, (c) those guys played really hard. I sat next to Mark Curtis from Channel 12 a long time ago in some really swole seats at AWA. I asked if he caught a lot of games here. He said, No; these are the station's seats. I can't afford them for a family of 4.

Don't wind me up on how many All-Stars we've traded away or let walk. :D

Interesting. A rich Cuban-American who has experience marketing to Latinos. I've been saying for years that the Coyotes are looking past an untapped group of die-hard sports fans by not courting the Hispanic population in greater Phoenix. Hockey is similar to futbol in a lot of ways and it could really help the bottom line for the Yotes. Plus, Coyote doesn't need to be translated. :)

And since he lives in LA, with a saturated hockey market already, no fear of him trying to move them there.

Both hockey and Soccer, I would love to see no off sides! No blue line. I grew up with American Soccer, where there was no off sides. I loved it, because then it is so much more like basketball. If you can make a good defensive play, you deserve a fast break. It was up to the defenders to stop you no matter what. The games were not that high scoring once you got used to defending. You have to play tighter and deny passes more, and you sometimes just have to charge on defense. Much more agressive play on both sides of the ball.

At least reach out to them. They've been ignored since hockey isn't a "Hispanic" sport, but it's idiotic to ignore them in the Valley.
