Actually a huge surprise I have no idea how Floyd does this but after multiple published reports by USC reporters like Matthrew Kredell said Angelo Johnson would not qualify, he did. According to USChoops, Johnson passed the Clearinghouse 15 minutes before the deadline to qualify for first semester, he's enrolled at USC now, and will be eligible right away.

Johnson is the kid who committed the same day the Romeo Miller announcement came out, he was listed as a junior at Stoneridge Prep, then Stoneridge found his transcripts from a prior prepschool in Georgia, he magically had enough core classes to possibly qualify this year instead of 08. All reports were he wasn't going to make it but he went to summer school and voila, he's in. Johnson is supposed to be an exceptionally quick PG, Clark Francis compared him quickness wise to Tywon lawson of UNC, not nearly as strong and can't shoot but USC had no quick guards so this is a huge deal for them.

Much as I dislike Floyd I have to give it to him, on paper he may have the most talented roster in the conference.

Still has to get them all to play together but I have to be honest I didn't for a second think they would actually get all of Mayo, Jefferson and Johnson in and they did.
