U of A "Feature Game"

in football?!?

I am watching the Mets/Braves game on TBS and they are touting the fact that college football is back again this fall on TBS. And, in order to drive that point home, the are "featuring" Arizona and LSU on September 6th to "kick-off the 2003 season".

I am not a Nick Saban fan but LSU is going to kick the holy hell out of UofA. I hope the Wildcats are getting a nice payday because they will pay on the field for it.

The game, I believe, is being played in Tucson.

I cheer for U of A, but this year will be the first time I cheer against them.

Sept 20, prepare for a Big 10 style ass-whuppin' at Purdue. Boiler Up!

So UofA will just get their asses kicked for fun then huh? Sounds about right. LSU is going to stomp them into the dirt. I am not anti-Wildcat but rather pro SEC and LSU is one of the toughest in that conference.

The SEC is by far the toughest conference. I love hearing people out west talking about how good PAC-10 football is, and then seeing PAC-10 teams getting stomped by the mighty SEC.

Maybe so, but Pac - 10 Football is much better, on whole, that what Arizona has been lately. Surely, TBS could find a better game to feature than this one.

The interesting test would be to throw USC (Southern Cal)...arguably the best the PAC10 has to offer...into the SEC for a year and see how they fare. I think they would get beat up pretty bad.

There is an east coast bias but they aren't nearly as far off as people like to think. SEC football top to bottom is the best in the nation.
