Utah demolished Texas A&M in their opener. 12.5 might not be enough for the Cats in this one.

Utah is the real deal. The only saving grace for U of A is this is in Tucson. I would give the points on this one happily.

I watched the utah game they looked good. The lobos had WSU beat pretty good but a few youthful mistakes cost them in the end and they let wsu leave the field with the game. I still thik the lobos can give utah fits with there d like last season. Hey the mountain west looks like its going to have some really good football this year. :go lobos:

12.5 is a bit less than what I imagined it would be. Utah is much more talented than the Cats and Urban Meyer (who will have a high profile job in '05) has his team playing for a BCS bid. I'm expecting at least a two touchdown Utes victory.

Stoops is claiming they ran a vanilla offense and defense Saturday against the Lumberjokes because they didn't want to show Utah anything. Even as a Cats fan, I'm not buying the spin as it sounds eerily familiar to a similar spin coming out of Tempe post-NAU game last year. The Utes will roll, barring a major knee injury to Marty Johnson.

Oh, I agree butr maybe...just maybe if the moons line up right, that home field advantage will pay off. But like I said, I would lay the points on this one since I think Utah will destroy UofA this week. Utah, IMO, is the real deal and it wouldn't shock me in the slightest to see them act as BCS buster this year.

NMCards though, brings up an interesting point and that is UNM. Their defense is crazy blitzing and the game against the Utes is in Albuquerque so that could be a HUGE hurdle for them to remain unbeaten but I still think they can run the table
