Question for ASU Season Ticket Holders

Because of my investment in Cards tickets, I am getting a guest pass for the ASU football games this year. My friends and I want to purchase a parking pass on the grass band field, but can't because we aren't season ticket holders. I was wondering if anyone could help me purchase a pass to the lot so we could tailgate there instead of lot 59. Thanks in advance...

I've never understood why ASU hasn't put more effort into their pre-game situation especially by somehow incorporating Tempe Town Lake. I know Lot 59 is a necessary evil because of student parking, but with the new parking garages you'd think they could do something with the small lot on the north side of Rio Salado. ASU's tailgate situation is pretty lacking for how popular the program is in Tempe.

So true, but if they ever get the funds to build the practice facility, the whole pregame thing will change. Everyone will go indoors ... assuming alcohol is allowed inside. I guess it depends if Ira Fulton funds it or not. I suspect one of the reasons it's not built is because allowing alcohol will be a fairly important aspect to it.

The indoor practice facility won't have anything to do with tailgating. If anything, it will take away from tailgating in the grass field (band field) because that's where it will be built.

There's no way the University will allow tailgating (definitely not alcohol) in a brand new football facility and the football team will make sure that happens. Tailgating isn't even allowed on their current practice field nor is it allowed on their turn practice field. They don't want their turf or facilities being gradually ruined by tailgaters. The only tailgating experience I can see happening in the new indoor facility would be for booster events. Even then, they already use the pavilion on the east side of the mountain.

That will be tough to come by. With the new parking structures going up in what is prime tailgating area, many people were pushed to Lot 59 (near the lake) or across Rural along the lake. Everyone wants to be in the band field tailgating area
