NCAA Round 1 Thread
Manhattan upsets Florida (although I picked it right). UTEP took Maryland to the buzzer before losing. BYU right now is schooling Syracuse...which is surprising to me.
Wake Forest is losing at the half to VCU.

I had FLA over Manhattan & Charlotte over TT. Not a good morning, hopefully BYU holds on, they're my 5-12 upset.

re: Manhattan
I don't understand why there is always a 12 over a 5 every year.
And I don't believe a 16 has ever upsetted a 1, but I'd like to see it sometime and mess with everyone's brackets!

So far I am a perfect 4-0 ... I picked Manhattan, Texas Tech, Alabama and Maryland.

I guess a few years ago, Michigan St was a #1 seed and had to go to overtime to win their first round game.
Thus far I am 3-1...TT, Manhattan, Maryland.
St Joes is in control and Syracuse has come back and taken the lead by 1.
If VCU beats Wake, that may mess up some brackets.

With 2 minutes to play VCu and Wake are tied at 71...This would be a HUGE upset if VCU can pull it off.

Well Warrick made 6 straight freethrows and Syracuse is now 7 up.

Looks like Wake will avoid the upset...up by 4 with under 12 secs left. VCU screwed up and let "alot" of time go off the clock before fouling.

Make that 3-3...
I don't know much about college basketball, but I'm trying to get into it.
Anyways, picked VCU over Wake Forest...or I would be 4-2, ugh.

Yeah it is only too bad he is now a senior already and only like 5'11.
They say he is similiar to Damon Stoudamire and should go in the first round in the draft.

BYU has gotten it back to 1 with about 4 minutes remaining. This one could go down to the wire too. Gotta love March Madness.
