When I saw that score my jaw hit the ground! That is an impressive performance by NAU. I thought for sure that they would be blown out.

Congrats to the Lumberjacks on getting their first playoff victory in school history.

maybe we (cardinals) should wait around for the Northern Arizona qb...at this pace..he may come out next season!! No stats for the mcneese state game - but I assume he had a great game..he has had a great season. For the games they lost (2 to montana schools and to ASU) it was mostly a function of the defense giving up points as opposed to being unable to score on offense..

NAU Football To Host Quarterfinal Playoff Game

Northern Arizona University will play host to Florida Atlantic Saturday, December 6 with kickoff scheduled at 6:05 p.m. in front of an ESPN Regional audience. NAU upset top-seeded McNesse State 35-3 Saturday in Lake Charles, La., to claim its first NCAA I-AA playoff win in school history and first postseason win since 1958. The winner advances to the NCAA I-AA Semifinals against the winner of the Colgate-Western Illinois contest.

Skyjacks members should call Linda Stromberg at 928-523-7805 by Thursday at 5 p.m. to secure their seats. Tickets will go on sale on to the general public on Tuesday and can be obtained at the Central Ticket Office or by calling 928-523-5661.

Reserved grandstand seats are $15 and $10. General admission seats are $7 with seniors/children/students set at only $5.

The game will be televised by ESPN Regional.
