The Irish pulled it out. Horrible kicking by WSU and as momentum was turning, WSU seemed to forget how to tackle. Second half was exciting and fun to watch.

Hey, if you play like absolute crap for the first half of the first game, and still win, I think that is incredibly encouraging. WSU is a damn good team, and they already had a game under their belt. This week, time to kick some wolverine ass. Go Irish!!!!!

Yeah, I hope the Irish bring the same game they had against WSU. Wolverines will stomp them this weekend. Michigan is one of the top 5 teams in the country and IMO a legitimate National Championship contender.
All I can say is if ND goes into Ann Arbor and wins...I will be waaaay impressed.

I think the key to the game is to recognize that Carlyle is not a pocket passer. He is most effective rolling out, and running when necessary. The offensive line looked pretty out of sync most of the game, but they are just getting to know each other. With Courtney Watson hopefully back, our defense will need to lead the way. Tough game, but definitely winnable.
