Sorry, Tempe, 'SI' says Tucson is better
Sports Illustrated's new On Campus publication, inserted into college newspapers, offers its list of the top 20 college towns in which to be a sports fan. It's bound to irritate the heated UA-ASU rivalry - Tempe didn't make the list, but Tucson did.
We're wondering what happened to South Bend, Ind., where you can get a steak sandwich and hot apple cider from the Knights of Columbus on football Saturdays, and Lincoln, Neb., where the band goes right through a prime rib joint the night before games.
