Fright Night

Ex-ASU football standout arrested on sex charges

Associated Press
Nov. 11, 2003

Mitchell Freidmen, a former standout on the ASU football team, has been booked into Madison Street Jail in Phoenix on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, sexual abuse and assault with a deadly weapon, police said.

The charges reportedly stem from an alleged attack on Sept. 12. No further information was immediately available.

Freidman, 27, works for the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. He played safety for ASU's 1997 Rose Bowl team.
