Final Brackets

What a West Bracket! I like the top half of the bracket for the Cats, but the bottom half is easily the toughest in the Tournament--ASU, Memphis, Duke AND Kansas?? Wow.

As the selection went on, I thought ASU was going to get snubbed. I'm sure there were some sweaty palms in Tempe.

The West bracket is indeed stronger than hell.

Memphis may be the sleeper. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me to see ASU beat them.

I thought ASU was given a break in that they just ended up in the West Bracket, when they (I think) are the lowest seeded Pac-10 team. I would have thought Oregon or Cal would have been in the West.

Any team put in a bracket with Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Cincinatti, Notre Dame, Illinois, and Memphis is NOT catching a break. What does the "West" bracket have to do with catching a break?

Nice call sly fly. I wouldn't consider playing in the West a break either. Playing close to home definitely isn't worth it in this case. I bet Oregon and Cal wouldn't switch with us if they had the chance.

Memphis is a good team and it's going to take more than Ike to upset them.

Go Devils!

Duh. For home crowd purposes. That's break for PLACEMENT, not a break because they're in a tough bracket.

Welp, I'm excited as hell, but I don't have much faith. Somebody wants Kentucky to win this thing. Cause the midwest, while it has some nice teams in it, is a frecking CREAMPUFF of a bracket compared to the West.

And I havent seen the fire in the Cats much at all this season. At least not the type that its going to take to get to the Final Four.

So at the same time, Im kind of bummed. Course the last time I expected litle from the Cats in the tourney was 97...

Does anyone else find it interesting that one of the South Regions sites is Spokane, WA...and the West Region is in Indy?

West is stacked. Top 6 in West is better than top 6 in any other region...by far. Top 10 in West dwarfs top 10 in any other region.

West region will be a bloodbath.

Kentucky has a cream puff bracket it appears...tailor made for a Final Four run. At first glance, Texas doesn't appear to have it too tough either although I haven't broken down that bracket yet.
