Best college at basketball and football?
Who is the best overall at those two sports? Some teams are really good at one or the other and some are good at both. for example Duke is a great basketball school, but in footbal.... Who's the best at both?
Going from last years final football rankings and the current basketball top 25 there are some of the teams that are in both polls.
Utah
Florida
Texas Tech
Louisville
Are they the best overall? Maybe not, but it's interesting to look at.

This year, I would say Louisville - Great BB and FB teams.
Oklahoma has been strong in both for a number of years.

Yep UCLA basketball is on the rebound but Dorrell hasn't proven anything yet in FB. USC is obviously great in FB but it remainst to be seen in basketball, they have some talent but things were a mess under Bibby so the new coach is starting from scratch.
Utah and OU would appear to be the best right now.

Utah is right up there as well. for this year.
Florida football is like basketball. there teams are ok, but everyone is so in love with them they can get in the top 25 and be a teribble team.

Please.
He didn't imply THIS SEASON ONLY, did he?
USC may not have won the championship, but until a few years ago, they had a pretty solid team year in and year out.

Texas and Florida have the longest concurrent streaks of NCAA bids and bowls.

This season it would definatly be Utah or Louisville, but overall, it's someone else. I was thinking more along the lines of if you had to choose one school a year that you thought would be the best at both, what name would be the "best bet" or might show up the most? It seems the balance of football and basketball is pretty lopsided at most colleges, but it's interesting to look at schools who do both well.
