Thumbs up

Zarko Cabarkapa

I think I have settled my sites on one of the guys I want the Suns to draft.

Zarko has a good chance of being there whether we select 13 or 16.

He can play any of the front court positions. Can shoot lights out and causes matchup problems. Very fundamentally sound, and would take some of the rebounding chores off of Stoudemire.

Another guy I like, if he is there, is Jarvis Hayes, but I am not sure he will slide far enough.

Lightbulb

He's a European

One of the guys featured in that big Article that came out for ESPN insider by Chad Ford.

You can read all about him at www.nbadraft.net

Basically, before the tournament started, he was projected to be a top 15 pick. Now he is sliding as college kids move up.

The problem is this draft STINKS for big men. My fear is that he will vault back in the top.

Of course

Amare was projected to go like 18 last year after the tournament.

Lots of college kids shoot up now, and then come back down to earth after the season is over.

Still, nbadraft had Amare going like 15th at draft time.

He is a very good player. He is a stronger version of Tony Kukoc.
