Where are the Joe Johnson haters now?
He is putting up some mighty good stats this month, and the Hawks are actually winning some games. About 25 points, 5 boards, 6 assists on 46% shooting in the last 5 games. 30 pts, 9 assists, 0 turnovers, 5 3-balls against Denver today. We've had countless 'look at JJ's bad stats today' threads, and someone even saying Eddie House more than makes up for him - how about a bit of kudos now that he is playing like a franchise player?

He does, more so when you factor in who we got back for Joe. A guy called Boris Diaw who is a better rebounder, passer and defender than Joe Johnson.
Joe is playing well but really like It matters. He is gone.

I don't think anybody ever questioned the talent Joe has. He is a very talented basketball player. Its just too bad his skills will be wasted doing whatever they do down there in Atlanta.

yeah he is improving but i really don't think he is worth the money that the hawks are paying him. he should be playing like lebron or mj to make what he does.

I totally agree, talented player just has to get used to losing 60 games every year. At least he will get an early jump on summer vacation every year.

It's easier to put up huge stats on a losing team than in the framework of a winning team. If they were the same place in the standings that the Suns are right now, I'd give him kudos. If he puts up huge stats and they remain a lottery team, what good is having a $70 million guy whose team isn't a winning team? Not to mention he cost two first round picks for your franchise...

Put your Johnson back in your pants and show it to somebody who cares.

Why can't we all get over it already and call the deal a win-win-win for all three parties involved?

i like how boris is rated higher on that list than JJ
lol
seriously, JJ is the man. i still have mad respect for his game. he's even been trying to force the issue more to get to the foul line. he needed to get out of here to become the best player he could be. This would never have been his team. Atlanta right now, for better or worse, is his team, and i respect a guy that wants that.
that being said, i don't really care anymore. by some miracle that trade was not lopsided, and we're doing alright.
i will continue to be happy to see JJ succeed...and equally happy to see JJ fail

Congrats on your meaningless win tonight.

I like how 3 current Suns are ranked ahead of JJ- Nash, Marion, and Diaw. We all know it should be four- Amare . Nothin like coming close to having a 5th man getting paid $70 mill. "Keep me on the bench Coach, I don't want to get booed anymore." WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
