Suns Playoff Run Thread
Can't believe we can even have a thread like this but here goes.
3/17/12
Houston Rockets lost to Clippers so the Suns are a single game back in the loss column and two back in the win column.
6. Dallas 25-20
7. Denver 24-20
8. Houston 24-21
9. Suns 22-22
10. Minnesota 22-23
11. Utah 21-22 (Play GSW tonight so...)
11. Portland 21-23

The Suns remaining schedule is very difficult. If they make the playoffs they will have earned it. Their next three games are the Rockets, @ Heat and @ Orlando. I just do not see them making the playoffs but I didn't think the Suns would be at .500 now either.
See link below.

If we can beat Houston and Orlando, I will be impressed. I'm expecting a loss to Miami simply cause they have more talent than us.

13 hard games to end the season with. All are against playoff teams or western teams fighting for playoffs.

Maybe a buyout is already in the works. See article link. Fisher is not going to break his contract with substantial money at stake.

I'd bet the farm on the Suns finishing 9th in the West.

With the remaining schedule that we have... finishing 9th may be too high of a projection. I think we have 12 out of our next 15 games on the road & a very difficult schedule overall... Miami, Orlando, Indiana, Spurs 3x, Clippers 2x, Utah 2x, Denver 2x, Lakers, Memphis, OKC, Houston... 16 tough games out of 21 games left. The only easier teams left are Cleveland, New Orleans, Sacramento, Portland & Minnesota.
If they're going to make the playoffs then they're gonna have to earn it.

I have us going for 17 more wins for the rest of the season. That should be enough to at least squeak into the playoffs. And if Denver loses Gallinari for extended time, then we can expect them to slip quite a bit too especially without Nene now.

I have us going 8-13 to finish the season... 31-35 and missing the playoffs. A record like that would probably have us around a 12th-14th pick in the draft... YAY!!! (Sarcasm)

6. Dallas 27-20 [Pulling away]
7. Denver 25-21 [-1]
8. Houston 24-22
9. Suns 23-22
10. Utah 23-22
11. Minnesota 23-24 [+1]
11. Portland 21-24
Kind of hoping Denver has a collapse. I think Houston will be good enough to make the playoffs.
