We don't need more offense from the center position. We need defense and rebounding.

How true that is.

I know it's the pre-season, but in the Suns latest game (vs. Portland), we were out-rebounded 16-4 (offensive), 34-24 (defensive) and 50-28 (total).

Their starting Forwards and Center out-rebounded ours 19-5.

Those numbers are pathetic, pathetic, pathetic and pathetic.

Do we really think it's going to change when the season starts?

And, oh yes, we lost by 20.

I agree with you. I just don't think your going to get it from Collins. As I said, he is not a very good player.

I guess Collins is the best we can expect to get since we wouldn't shell out the money to get anyone else better when they were available. Can't hurt to bring him in at this point even if he isn't that good. Frye and Lopez aren't much better really.

At least the Suns selected Dick Van Arsdale in the 1968 expansion draft.

It was mentioned elsewhere that Jake Voskuhl was also waived, so I wonder if the Suns would be interested in brining him back instead. I have not read anything from Coro that would suggest that, but wouldn't he be a better option than Collins? At least we know what to expect from Jake and he already played with Nash, Amare and Barbs.

And kept Dan Majerle over Jeff Majerle, who was skinny and had only a 3-point shot . . . and managed his first restaurant.

And, as you inferred, Dick over Tom. That's VanArsdale, not Smothers.

You know what - screw financial, screw management and all known logics - i wanted and I still want CAMBY

He would be EXACTLY what we need right now - rebounds, rebounds and blocks. A real big, no d-leaguer, no scrub but a very strong experienced player.

Please, make it happen Santa

Tucker, Griffin, Lopez, (Richardson) - pick something LA...
