Suns/Knicks game top rated this season

From FSN:

SUNS/KNICKS WAS THE HIGHEST RATED SUNS GAME OF THE SEASON

FOX SPORTS ARIZONA TELECAST TOPPED MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL’S RATING

Last night’s Phoenix Suns/New York Knicks game on FOX Sports Arizona was not only the highest rated Suns telecast of the season, but it also generated a higher rating than Monday Night Football.

According to Nielsen Media Research, the Suns 111-103 win and Mike D’Antoni’s return generated a 6.8 rating/10 share on FOX Sports Arizona, which means that an average of 122,576 homes in the Phoenix market watched the game. It was the best rating of the season for the Suns on any television network, topping a 6.4 rating that their game against the Los Angeles Lakers received on Nov. 20.

Additionally, the Suns/Knicks rating topped the rating for Monday Night Football on ESPN. The Cleveland Browns/Philadelphia Eagles game recorded a 6.0 rating/9 share.

A rating is the percentage of all television households in a market, while the share is the percentage of those television households that actually have their sets on during the particular time. In Phoenix, one ratings point equals 18,026 households.

FOX Sports Arizona televises the most regional sports action in the state and is the exclusive cable television home of the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona Rattlers and Phoenix Mercury. FOX Sports Arizona is currently seen in 2.8 million households in Arizona & New Mexico and can also be seen across the country via home satellite services.

Pretty incredible given that it was not very well played. I suppose stern is now considering whether calling the hand check on the perimeter is in the best intere$t of the NBA. No need to change the rules, its already in place, just call it.
