My opinion has definately softened on Sarver, he had the ability to save 18 million (??) and he didn't take it. Kudos boys, now let's let the US Airways Center air out the stink of Terry Porter's failure

With running system, this team can make playoff, without Shaq.
With running system, this team can not make the western conference final, with Shaq.
Unless they could somehow dramatically improve team defence, this team is going nowhere, with or without Shaq.

This team will not get as far in the playoffs without Shaq. This is not 3 or 4 years ago when no teams had ever seen another running team like the Suns. This is not 3 or 4 years ago when no other teams could run. This is not 3 of 4 years ago when teams had no idea how to stop the pick and roll.
They might not make it all the way with or without Shaq but I still think their chances are better with him...no matter how slight.
Good move not trading him. |

Who added garbage time all stars?? I don't even see how that applies to Shaq. He was in the game at both times the West went on major runs and IMO sparked both runs during that game. He was more effective then a handful of all-stars that played over 20 minutes. |
