OT: I am working for the NBA for the All Star weekend.

I will be a players and coaches concierge. That is pretty sweet.

That would not only be fun, but I would imagine you could get some serious tips with the amount of money they make they tend to be pretty big tippers I'm told.

Get laid off, interview with a company that is being contracted by the NBA. Not get the job that you interviewed for, but make such a impact with them that they thought of you when the NBA told them they needed a few people. Not only do I get to start my regular new job on Monday, I get to spend next weekend with NBA players. If I see Kobe, I will tell him that you will promise to quit sending those pictures of yourself if he says hi to you.

I like horn much better.

It is hone, yes, but I say horn because of a great debate once in college where a guy made an awesome defense of "horn in" on something, dealing with some trumpet guy busting in on someone's song and ruining it. So I always say horn in. I couldn't care less if it is wrong.

What is shocking is that nobody ever challenges it. I thought I was creating a new phrase and I would have gotten away with it too if you guys hadn't ruined it...you and your darn grammar dog.

Yikes, but maybe the guy was right. This was a long time ago, prior to Internets in every pot.

I've never heard of 'hone in' meaning to pry seriously or push oneself into some 'action'. ('Horn in' has been used in that way for many years, that I know of.) Usually 'hone in' seems to be used, erroneously, in place of 'home in' in the sense of seeking or acquiring a target, as a homing device does.

Andrew, I thought videos were no longer allowed in signatures... that bobble head of yours is so annoying, I was looking forward to it disappearing more than anything else.
