How long do you think it will take to get rid of Robert $aver
Er I meant Sarver. Yes, Sarver.
I mulled over this just a tad in my head and I am at a loss, just some ideas bad or good would be nice.
Do you think he will stick around for a while? Bolt after just the next couple terrible years of mediocrity going on to lottery?
I am worried he could be here the next 5-6 years or longer. That is terrifying.
What will he do after next year if he stays, I mean really. His whole thing has been selling draft picks, so obviously our talent scouting departent has been neglected and I would venture to guess is probably now one of the the worst in the league.
I can't envision sarver sticking around for a poor money intake rebuilding team that will need a strong team of talent scouts to get good drafting.

He'll probably end up moving the team to his beloved Tucson. BTW, you had it right, it is spelled $arver.

I know things are hot right now, but you cant get rid of an owner.
He is making money and will in the foreseeable future. That is the goal of NBA owners; to make money.
Sadly, the only way to fight an owner is to not support the team, but then again, there will always be someone ready to buy the ticket that you arent.

Im not so sure anymore. There were empty seats back when Starbury, Amare, Marion and the gang took the court back in, what was it, 2002-2003 ? If Nash is moved (for picks) and Hill and Raja not retained, those days could return quickly. The west is improving--Portland with Oden/Aldridge/Roy, Lakers with Bynum/Kobe/Gasol, GS, Houston, Denver, Clippers and not to mention the Hornets getting better, its likely to be mediocrity city for the Suns the next 4-5 seasons.
I do think Sarver might sell if he sees the product diminish to the point where they dont fill seats and its been rumored that the Suns as we see them constructed today are hardly breaking even. He could sell and make a decent penny over what he paid for the team a few years back.

The thing I don't get is would anyone give up millions and millions of dollars in expenses for an incremental increase in revenue? The Suns are profitable, and if Sarver greenlighted all kinds of signings and trades, HE will be the one bearing all the financial risks.
Guys, we are talking about millions and millions of dollars, the man didn't become rich enough to own an NBA team because he has no idea of how to make a profit.
